This session is open to employees of MedVet.

Completing this interactive workshop will help you understand how client caregiver burden affects the pet owners you work with and the decisions they make. You will learn all about “Burden Transfer” -- how your clients’ burden can transfer to you and your team. 

Early sessions will provide greater understanding of these issues, and allow you to take a look at how burden transfer affects YOU! Later sessions cover strategies for identifying moments of burden transfer, and being mindfully present to allow you to “unhook” and take a bird’s eye view of what makes these moments difficult. You will also learn HOW burden transfer happens and develop an action plan to reduce its impact!

Unburdened is an educational program geared toward reducing stress and burnout associated with difficult client interactions in the field of veterinary medicine.
